✨Calling all scandies and scan-fans! ✨

Get ready for a night to remember and the biggest event of term: Sittning! Join us for a night filled with laughter, food, drinks, and, of course, Scandi songs, games, and entertainment! 🎶 This is the first Sittning of the academic year, so put on your best dancing shoes and bring your studenterhue/Russelue/ studentmössa/ylioppilaslakki/ stúdentshúfa/ (Scandinavian graduation cap) if you have it! Any other silly headwear will also be accepted!  💃🥂🎊

Tickets drop at 6 pm on Monday the 12th of February, so be ready to get your ticket(s) on our website before they sell out! Our seatings are restricted to 50 people, so we advise you to get your tickets as quickly as possible, to ensure your seat!

Ticketing closes on the 20th of February @ 6 pm. All scandi and non-scandi friends are of course welcome! 

At check-out, you will also choose your menu and drinks of choice (don’t worry vegans, veggies and gluten-free people are catered for!).

For newcomers, sittning is our termly formal dinner event, which is best explained as a crossover between the Swedish and Finnish sittning tradition and the Danish Julefrokost. That means loads of food, drinks, songs and games! 🍾🍰🎶

Don’t worry if you don’t know anyone who is going, the event is a great way to make new friends. We will be changing seats throughout the dinner and have plenty of games and challenges for people to bond over!    

So what is included? A welcome drink, a three-course meal of your own choosing with wine or beer, scandi-shots (Akvavit! 👀), and loads of scandi-entertainment included! And there’s more! a free ticket to Mash is included for the party to continue long past midnight! We’ll distribute wristbands upon arrival.

Dress code: Black tie (no gown). Come in your sharpest suit or most dazzling dress! Scandinavian student graduation caps or silly headwear are encouraged too (but not required)! 💃🕺🎓
