President – nadja prigorowsky
Hej everyone!
I’m Nadja, a proud Stockholm native and a second year HSPSer at St Edmund’s. I’m thrilled to be serving as your ScanSoc President over this next year. ScanSoc is a home away from home for Scandis and Scanfans alike, bringing you the best of what the Nordics have to offer. Whether we meet for an ABBA bop, our yearly Midsummer celebration, or - my favourite - a song-filled ‘sittning’, I can’t wait to invite you to our Scandinavian family.
Scandi-love,
Nadja

treasurer – anna linda elvre
Hey!
My name is Anna Linda, finishing my first year of HSPS over at Homerton. I am this year’s Treasurer, so will be making sure we have the money to put on all of the fun events and projects we have planned for this year without costing you a fortune hopefully. I am from Estonia, but have lived in both Denmark and Finland for many years and loved it, so hope that excuses the stereotype.
Excited to spread the Scandi fun!

Here’s to a great year with Scansoc!

events officer – anne jensdatter
Hej!
My name is Anne, a Copenhagen native now residing at St. Edmund’s College studying HisPol, and I am one of the Events Officers this year. This year I can’t wait to host and plan Cambridge’s most colorful, brilliant, fun and iconic events. Look forward to the fiercely competitive Eurovision song contest party, Danish/Faroese “beer bowling” and Kævle tournaments, Norwegian Christmas hygge, Finnish Snapse songs at Sittning - and lots of political events on Nordic geopolitics.

assistant treasurer & songbook officer – benjamin warner
Morjesta och morjens!
I'm Beni, a second-year HSPSer at King’s and the Songbook Officer for ScanSoc this year. I will provide you with endless musical glee as you consume various refreshments at our events. I will also work on making Cambridge (and Oxf*rd) a new society songbook for Snapsvisor, both new and old. I'm from Finland, but am unfortunately cursed with 50% British heritage, which dampens my Nordic looks. I also come from the Swedish-speaking minority in the country, so please don't hesitate to speak Swedish to me, or dare yourself to try speaking Finnish.
Excited for a wonderful year!

Goddav!
I’m Karl, from Djursland in Denmark. I’m a 2nd-year PhD student in computer science. I also did my undergraduate here, so I’m considered part of the furniture now. I’m the photographer this year, aiming to capture everyone from their best side and helping us remember all the fun events we’ll be having in the upcoming year!
